The Role

Two Interim Heads of Service Development are required by a leading UK Mental Health assessment and treatment organisation specialising in secure and forensic mental health. They currently have requirements for two Service Development Managers to join the team to actively develop their portfolio with an overall goal of increasing the occupancy rate (and hence influencing referrals from NHS and Private Sector) at a number of their units. You will work closely with commissioners, developing strong relationships, as well as ensuring that adequate contracts are in place to ensure a steady flow of patients into the arena.

It is essential to have experience of commissioning or working within the secure mental health arena either within the NHS or Private Sector. The assignments are due to start immediately, is based in East/West England or London and is expected to last for 6 months+.
