Head of Compliance

The Role

6-12 month contract for a Head of Compliance with a large Retail Financial Services firm. The candidate will have strong all round compliance knowledge gained in financial services, particularly in either asset management, retail banking or mortgage lending. Banking product knowledge and particularly mortgages will be of significant benefit.

The candidate will be responsible defining a new process and procedures for the department as well as bolstering the current team with new recruits. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the compliance function including regulatory risk/compliance and will familiar with MIPRU regulation as well as prudential risk.

Candidates will have held senior compliance roles, be technically strong and also have excellent communication skills allied to strong team development and management. Candidates with a financial services background as well as those in Practice will be welcome.
